About Dr. Kenya, B.Ed., D.C
Dr. Charles Kenya graduated from Kenyatta University (Kenya) in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in education. He was a passionate teacher in Kenya where he taught and mentored many high school students for twelve years.
In 2001, while on a mission trip with his wife in Iowa USA, Charles set his feet on a different path. They were exposed to chiropractic care. His wife who had suffered a back injury that followed a fall while in Kenya had struggled for years. Despite the best medical attention and excellent physiotherapy care she had received, her condition had put her out of work on several occasions. The condition had turned into a chronic ailment with which she had to live cautiously. After four weeks of chiropractic care in Iowa, Amilliah, Charles’ wife was up and about her duties like one who had never had a problem. She could carry out all household and around the farm chores unlike before. By the end of their four months of stay, nobody remembered that she had a back problem. It was at this point that Charles was presented with an opportunity to study Chiropractic.
In 2002 Charles moved his family to South Carolina USA to embark on the chiropractic journey. Together with his wife, they enrolled at Greenville Tech South Carolina where they took pre-requisites courses in Anatomy and Physiology, Organic and Inorganic Chemistry, Physics and Biology. In 2003 they started their Doctor of Chiropractic degree program at Sherman College of Chiropractic. Charles graduated cum-laude in December, 2006.
Charles worked as an associate doctor with Dr. Shawn Labelle and Dr. Lee Popwell in Greenville South Carolina. In these busy high volume offices, Charles was mentored and trained with skill and proficiency. The great friendship and professional ties that were established still remain to date. Charles moved to Spartanburg in 2010 where he opened his own practice. Charles is a passionate and enthusiastic doctor of chiropractic. His practice is driven by his Christian values where he treats people with respect and dignity. His patients enjoy specialized care as he endeavors to offer high quality service to all.
Charles married his college sweet heart, Amilliah in 1990 following their graduation from Kenyatta University. God has blessed them with three wonderful children, Daniel, Hope, and Harry Kenya.
God does not make junk

Ephesians 2:10
"For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works that we should walk in them."
God does not make 'junk'. None of us is a mistake or a-by-the-way.
We are God’s workmanship – He took time to design you. You have specific characteristics, strengths and weaknesses that your designer knows about.
Created in Christ Jesus – Your design is only made perfect in Christ Jesus. Outside of him you loose your identity and purpose.
Unto good works, which God hath before ordained – Your work was ordained (cut out for you) before you were born. The work cut out for can only be best done by you. You have what it takes to accomplish and no one else.
The only way you can find out about your purpose in life is by asking your manufacturer. He knows why he made you. Why don't you find out from him today so that you can 'Bloom Where You Have Been Planted'.
